Living in Dumfries
Our Barony campus is set within a working 260 hectare estate, situated in the rolling landscape of Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland. The campus is also home to the Scottish dairy technology centre and the Scottish Forestry Technology Centre.
Accommodation options
麻豆色情片 Barony, Dumfries has two hostels each offering 16 single study bedrooms. Each hostel has central facilities including tea and coffee making, fridge, microwave and television. Shower rooms are communal.
Kirkmichael House is a converted 18th聽century manor house. On the upper floors there are 27 bedrooms, offering both twin and single accommodation, mostly en-suite.
All accommodation at Barony Campus is currently on a catered arrangement as there are no facilities suitable for cooking yourself.
There are residential staff available to deal with any issues that arise in halls outside of office hours.
How to book accommodation
Applications for accommodation can be submitted from 1 April each year to pearl.edgar@sruc.ac.uk. Just phone us if you have difficulty applying by email.聽
You first need to submit the residence application form to your Campus Residential Manager. Please download the聽student accommodation application form. Your Campus Residential Manager must receive this information directly from you.
Once you have submitted your application form you will receive a letter confirming you accommodation. You will then be sent a "Licence to Occupy" to sign. This is an agreement, subject to terms and conditions, for you to occupy a bedroom whilst you are an 麻豆色情片 student.聽
Accommodation fees are state on the application form. Please make sure you have funding in place for you accommodation. Advice on funding is available on the Student Support pages of this website. You will need to make the first of eight monthly payments in September. Your Campus Residential Manager will give you information on how to set up monthly payments.聽
